For these simulations I built models in Solidworks, Autodesk Inventor, and CATIA. Using the simulation features specific to both Solidworks and ANSYS software I was able to explore Finite Element Analysis (FEA), Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), and Heat Transfer modeling

Stress analysis:
This analysis focuses on measuring the stress and strain experienced by a bolted connection of beams with an applied load. This simulation was an attempt to verify the chosen materials capabilities of carrying the pre-determined load.

CFD of centrifugal pump:
This analysis was performed to visualize the pressure change during the pumping process in this particular design. The centrifugal pump was designed by Ben Akbarian. The simulations were performed using Solidworks CFD Flow Simulator.

Aerodynamics:
This is a CFD analysis using ANSYS Fluent of a BOEING F-16 Falcon. The study was performed using a k-Epsilon model and a polyhedral mesh. The 3D model was created in Solidworks and this study was used to explore the concepts of airfoil adjustments.

Fluid Friction Heat Study:
This simulations displays the creation and dissipation of heat in pipe flow. Both a flow study and a heat transfer study were performed on this model using ANSYS to explore methods of distributing heat that is introduced into a system.
